Finance Minister Mihály Varga described the 2020 budget as the budget of families on Kossuth Radio’s programme Sunday Paper.
“We may have few natural resources, but our heads are always at hand; using our creativity is vital to us”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s State Secretary for Information and the International Representation of Hungary said on Monday in Budapest at the opening of the 4th China-CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) Cultural and Creative Industry Forum.
“Hungary is prepared to meet the energy security challenges it will be facing, and new solutions and new transport routes will be required in the interests of handling the uncertainties that will arise from next year”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said on Monday at a regional energy security forum in Belgrade.
Some 5000 children are arriving from schools both within and across the border – from Transylvania, Serbia, Slovakia and Transcarpathia – to take part in the National Solidarity Day programmes. There will be communal singing in front of Parliament on Kossuth Square on Tuesday.
According to Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister György Bakondi, the fact that military personnel will also be taking part in the defence of the southern border from Saturday is enabling the reallocation of various police units from the border.
“The Hungarian authorities are doing everything in their power in the interests of the success of rescue efforts, the search for those missing, and clarifying the circumstances of the tragedy following Wednesday’s Danube boat accident”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in Budapest on Friday.
Minister of Interior Dr. Sándor Pintér has entrusted the Director General of the Counter-Terrorism Centre (TEK), János Hajdu with directing tasks related to bringing to the surface the wreck of the boat that sank near Margaret Bridge in Budapest on 29 May 2019.
“Hungary attributes major significance to cooperation with Latin America, and Paraguay could play an important role in this”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in Budapest on Friday.
