The Hungarian government’s response evidently annoys the European Commission as the cabinet has done nothing other than expose Brussels’ pro-immigration plans, the Hungarian government spokesperson said commenting on the Monday statement of the spokesperson for the European Commission.
“The fact that, as a country of just over ten million people, Hungary produces 105 billion euros in exports is a tribute to the work of the Hungarian people”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in reaction to the foreign trade figures published by the Central Statistical Office (CSO) on Monday.
The Government has published its reply to the European Commission on its website. In the reply, it presents a detailed account of the plans and decisions that are aimed at increasing immigration into Europe. These cannot be denied, not least because they are proven by statements, resolutions and voting records.
The Hungarian Government is replying to the European Commission in an 8-page resolution. In this, the Cabinet presents a point-by-point description of the plans and proposals that are aimed at increasing immigration into Europe.
“The Hungarian Government listens to all criticism, but the opinion of the Hungarian people is more important than party discipline”, State Secretary for International Communications and Relations Zoltán Kovács said on Kossuth Radio’s “Sunday Papers” show.
“More and more companies from Baden-Württemberg are performing job-creating investments in Hungary, and as a result of the success of giant companies, increasing numbers of medium-sized enterprises are also choosing Hungary as the site for their new investment projects”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a telephone statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Friday from Stuttgart, in the recess of talks in the German state capital.
The conservative German Sunday paper Welt am Sonntag published an interview titled ‘I do not like politics of revenge’ with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
“Brussels has admitted its pro-immigration plans”, the Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister said in an interview for Hungarian daily Magyar Hírlap published on Friday.
“There are many more common points in the relationship between Hungary and the German state of Baden-Württemberg than issues with relation to which there may not be agreement”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a statement to Hungarian news agency MTI from Stuttgart on Friday in the recess of talks in the state capital.
