The Ministry of Justice will submit to Parliament the bill on the establishment of administrative courts before the end of this year, Justice Minister László Trócsányi announced at an international conference held on Thursday in Budapest. According to plans, the new system of administrative courts could start its operation from 1 January 2020.
“There is little chance that an agreement will be reached on the post-2020 budget during the current European Parliament term” Minister of State for EU Policy and Coordination Szabolcs Takács from the Prime Minister’s Office said in InfoRadio’s Arena show on Monday. According to Government Spokesperson Zoltán Kovács, at the informal summit of EU heads of state and government, “the majority of countries” rejected the new proposal on the upgrading of the role of the European Union’s border and coast guard agency (Frontex) which would withdraw “partial rights attached to border controls”.
