“Italy’s reaction to mass illegal immigration is changing day by day”, Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister György Bakondi said on Hungarian M1 television’s Monday evening current affairs program.

The Prime Minister’s Press Chief has told Hungarian news agency MTI that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received Arthur Schneier, the Senior Rabbi of New York’s Park East Synagogue, for a working lunch in the Parliament Building on Monday.

Mr. Orbán stated that “We shall mobilise the political and legal power of the Hungarian state against anyone who undermines the security of Hungary, regardless of their origins, religious affiliation or wealth”.

The Council of Europe’s Lanzarote Convention on protecting children from sexual exploitation and sexual harassment was adopted in 2007 and came into force in Hungary on 1 December 2015. The highest-level monitoring body of the Convention is the Lanzarote Commission, which is made up of government exports from states who are party to the Convention.
