Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister, has informed kormany.hu that on Thursday Prime Minister and President of Fidesz Viktor Orbán received István Pásztor, President of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians.
“Greater emphasis must be placed on research, innovation, cross-border cooperation and joint action by the region within the biomass-based economy, in the interests of assuring the further sustainable growth of agriculture and the facilitation of knowledge-based development”, Zsolt Feldman said at the BIOEAST conference, which was jointly organised by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Research Institute of Agricultural Economics and the National Chamber of Agricultural Economics on 21-22 February in Budapest.

In December 2016, the volume of retail sales was up by 2.8 percent year-on-year, while in the entire year of 2016 the sector posted sales growth of 4.5 percent. At the meeting, the parties reviewed issues related to the exit of the United Kingdom from the EU, the topics of migration, data protection and digitisation, and further exchanged views on employment and social issues and the future of the European Union.
A V4 + Japan security policy seminar, organised by the Japanese Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Tokyo Embassies of the Visegrád Four and the Japanese Josai University, was held in Tokyo on 22 February 2017.
