In Szolnok on Thursday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán gave an address at the official inauguration of a factory expansion which will increase capacity at the plant of Hungarian-owned Béres Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Mr. Orbán said that no modern country can operate without foreign capital, but it is also a fundamental interest for there to be as many large Hungarian-owned enterprises as possible in Hungary.
George A. Olah was a scientist and a patriot

The funeral of the chemist and Nobel laureate George A. Olah (György Oláh) – who also received the Corvin Chain and the Széchenyi Grand Prize from the Hungarian state – took place on Tuesday. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán delivered an oration, in which he said: “He will be fondly remembered not only in the annals of science, but also in the book of great Hungarian patriots. He was a man of unbending character, who always followed his own path, and never allowed himself to be diverted from it.”

On Tuesday Bertalan Havasi, head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister, informed Hungarian news agency MTI that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had sent greetings for the Jewish New Year to representatives of the Hungarian Jewish community.
Hungary will never be an immigrant country

In the Hungarian parliament on Monday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán delivered an address at the beginning of the opening day of the autumn session. In his speech he drew a distinction between “immigrant countries” and “non-immigrant countries”, saying that “we want a Hungarian Hungary”, and “we would also like to see a European Europe”. He declared that Hungary will never be an immigrant country. Referring to the activities of George Soros, he also said that the Brussels bureaucrats are implementing the “Soros Plan”, and “are feeding out of Soros’s hand”.

Addressing the eleventh national congress of the Alliance of Christian Intellectuals (KÉSZ) in the Hungarian Parliament on Saturday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán argued for the need to oppose the “Soros Plan”, which would transform Central European countries into “immigrant countries”: states with mixed populations and cultures.
