Central European cooperation in the interest of developing agro-research

Record number of visitors and successful Hungarian appearance at this year’s Biofach

This year’s Biofach in Nuremberg, which has a 28-year history and is Europe’s most important organic products expo, was visited by 50 thousand people from 134 countries, who viewed the stands of 2785 exhibitors from 88 countries. The Hungarian National Stand organised by the Agricultural Marketing Centre (AMC), also performed outstandingly at the event, which was held from 15-18 February.

Danube-Ipoly National Park launches 585 million forint conservation programme

“The Danube-Ipoly National Park is launching a conservation programme in Komárom-Esztergom County with a total budget of 585 million forints (EUR 1.9M) to restore the aquatic habitats of the Tát islands and to protect bat colonies in the Gerecse, Pilis and Vertes Hills”, the National Park’s Director, András Füri, announced at a press conference in Esztergom on Monday.
