“Now that the epidemic situation has eased, economic protection has become the most important joint task for Hungary and Slovenia”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó declared on Thursday in Budapest after receiving Slovenian Minister of Economic Development and Technology Sdravko Počivalšek.
“Simultaneously with the rebooting of economies, the capacity-redistribution competition in the world has also begun, which Hungary will naturally also be entering; the government is looking forward to prolonged negotiations in Germany”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a Facebook post from Stuttgart today. Germany took over the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union on Wednesday.
“The success of the Hungarian economy is to a great extend dependent on what kind of new production and research capacities arrive in Hungary”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a statement to Hungarian public media on Wednesday from Germany.
“The significance of stable points in diplomacy has increased as a result of the global pandemic, and the cooperation, friendship and strategic cooperation between Hungary and Germany is a stable point that will always be determinative”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó emphasised at Hungary’s Consulate General in Stuttgart on Wednesday.

“The European Union should sign a new agreement with Ankara in the interests of having Turkey curb migration on its own border”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said on Tuesday in Ankara at a press conference following a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
