Tibor Navracsics, Hungary's minister of foreign affairs and trade, opened an honorary consulate in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik on Thursday, the ministry has said. Honorary Consul Katja Bakija will oversee consular services throughout the year.

Busch-Hungária Kft, a leading supplier of high value added nodular cast components for the automotive industry, announced at an event held at the company’s headquarters this Wednesday to initiate a HUF 6.4 billion expansion project in Győr. Subsidized by the Hungarian government with HUF 505 million according to a discretional government decision, the project is going to increase current staffing levels of 250 by 105 additional jobs by the end of 2017.

Pér Airport, near the city of Győr in north-west Hungary, has been officially opened to traffic after an expansion project costing some EUR 6.6 million enabled the take-off and landing of Boeing-737 and Airbus 320 airliners.
