Slovak-Hungarian relations excellent, says Tibor Navracsics

On Monday, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Tibor Navracsics said that the day-to-day functioning of Slovak-Hungarian relations is excellent, though this does not mean that there are no areas of disagreement; the aim, however, is not to avoid all possible disagreement, but to successfully resolve it, he said.
Europe’s freedom commemorated by three countries’ representatives in Sopron

The 25th anniversary of the dismantling of the Iron Curtain was celebrated near Sopron, where the barbed wire was cut in 1989. The commemoration was held at the place where Hungarian Foreign Minister Gyula Horn and his Austrian counterpart Alois Mock jointly cut through the barbed wire a quarter of a century ago to begin the demolition of the closed border. This symbolic gesture is remembered today by a memorial stone.
Montenegro is ready for NATO membership

American IT consulting company Pactera will open a development centre in Hungary, investing about EUR 11 million into the project that will create 230 new jobs in the first phase already.
