Prime Minister Viktor Orbán arrived in Sofia where he will attend the Thursday summit of the EU and countries of the Western Balkans, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI in the Bulgarian capital.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, President of Fidesz, had bilateral talks with the leaders of sister parties regarding European issues before the Thursday Sofia summit of the EU and countries of the Western Balkans and after the Wednesday meeting of the European People’s Party (EPP), Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief told the Hungarian news agency MTI on Wednesday in the Bulgarian capital.

On Friday Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister, informed the Hungarian news agency MTI that Prime Minister of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini had sent a letter to Viktor Orbán, congratulating him on his re-election as Prime Minister of Hungary and highlighting continued intensive cooperation between the two countries. Mr. Havasi also told MTI that Mr. Orbán’s first official foreign visit as prime minister will be to Warsaw.
