Viktor Orbán has completed consultations on the formation of his new government

In accordance with a request from President of the Republic János Áder, over the past few days Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has been holding consultations on the formation of his new government. On Friday Mr. Orbán’s Press Chief Bertalan Havasi informed Hungarian news agency MTI that this consultation process has come to a close, the Prime Minister has informed the boards of Fidesz and the KDNP of the results, and Hungary’s new government will be formed in the weeks following the inaugural sitting of Parliament.
