Hungaricum photo exhibition opens in European Parliament

Minister of Agriculture Sándor Fazekas and United States Ambassador to Hungary Coleen Bradley Bell agreed that the signing of the free trade agreement between the EU and the USA, which is currently under development, was on the whole a positive step, although Hungary voiced several concerns during the course of the meeting.

The Hungarian milk industry is ready to begin operations within the new system following the EU’s withdrawal of milk quotas from 1 April, and is expected to be one of the winners of the changes, Minister of State for Agricultural Economy György Czerván said.
New sawmill inaugurated in Miskolc

The new flexible hardwood sawmill inaugurated in Miskolc on Friday, which is medium sized in European comparison, but large for Hungary, was realised by WIS Holding Ltd. using over 981 million forints (EUR 3.27M) in funding received via the New Széchényi Plan.
