HUF 1100 billion to be spent on Hungarian transport development

Development in supercomputing aids scientific cooperation between higher education and industry

At the closing event of the “Supercomputing in higher education” project in Budapest on Wednesday, Ákos Kara, Secretary of State for Infocommunications and Consumer Protection, said that the largest supercomputing development in Hungary has been completed, and that this will aid scientific cooperation between higher education and industry.

Mr. Aradszki was speaking at the Budapest Energy Charter Forum, which was jointly organised on 07 October 2015 by the Ministry of National Development and the Energy Charter Secretariat.

Wizz Air’s new maintenance hangar inaugurated

The new maintenance hangar constructed as a HUF 1bn investment at Liszt Ferenc International Airport was inaugurated in Budapest on 31 August, 2015. At the inauguration ceremony Minister of National Development Miklós Seszták emphasised it was Hungary’s fundamental interest to increase its competitiveness at the aviation market and provide services of proper quality, for which the inauguration of the new hangar could be considered a milestone. In addition to increasing competitiveness, the hangar would ensure an enhanced role for Hungary in aviation.
